The PTO has moved their meeting originally scheduled for this evening to Monday, March 9th at 5:45 PM in the cafeteria. We will be discussing our upcoming Coin War and Teacher Appreciation Week. The meeting is open to all parents and guardians of FES students, and kids are welcome to attend. We hope to see you there!

Our Sweethearts Dance is only a few days away! TONIGHT from 6-8 PM. We will have concessions, dancing, and even have a Prince & Princess for each grade (and a King & Queen for 5th grade). Adult supervision is required.
REMINDER - Younger siblings are permitted to join with adult supervision but no students older than 5th grade will be permitted to attend.
We cannot wait to see you there!

Bus 98 will be picked up 20-25 minutes behind normal schedule today. They will be picked up by bus 89. All students will still have the opportunity to get breakfast upon arrival to school.

We are excited to announce that we have an additional kindergarten teacher joining our team. Ms. Emily Wolford comes to us with 4 1/2 years experience in elementary teaching near Muncie, Indiana. Ms. Wolford brings experience in teaching using the same curriculum programs we use here at FES and at a school with diversity. We are very excited to have her here as a Knight!
Ms. Wolford will begin teaching her own class on Tuesday, January 20th. She has spent the last few days shadowing our kindergarten classes, meeting students, and setting up her classroom. Students who will be moving into Ms. Wolford's class will have letters sent home today or tomorrow and also be notified by Mr. Burch through this messaging app.

Families, the Holiday Hullabaloo is tomorrow, December 18th! It will be from 6 to 8 PM, a change from our originally scheduled time. There will be milk & cookies, pictures with Santa, a bounce house, special performances by our choir and dance team, and much more! We will be selling tickets to purchase gift baskets. We accept cash or paypal. You can also bring in a canned good in exchange for a ticket to get popcorn or purchase it for $1 per bag. The weather does call for rain tomorrow, but we still plan to offer train rides so please dress accordingly. We are so excited to celebrate together! Due to inclement weather all Boone County Schools will be
CLOSED for MONDAY DECEMBER 15TH. **The district's notification provider is currently experiencing high traffic resulting in delays. Messages have been sent out, it just may take a little while before they are received.**
